Test taker should consider whether the answer is a name of a person, a certain activity, a name of place, a kind of machine, or many other things. Then, test taker also needs to know what to do with that information. When the instruction states that he or she should write in the number mentioned previously, then test taker just needs to fulfill it.

In IELTS, the kind of questions can be very various. Sometimes, test taker is asked to complete a sentence, fill in the missing words in a sentence and do some other instructions. Therefore, it is important for test taker to analyze first before start giving answer. Knowing exactly what should be given and what test taker has to do with it is the best way to grab high score in IELTS.
